The Buckingham School

Learning Resource Centre

Resource Centre Opening Hours - Monday to Thursday 8.00am to 4.30pm and Friday 8.00am to 4.00pm

It is a centre for research/reading and independent study and is situated on the upper floor of the Humanities Building. It provides a light and welcoming atmosphere and contains approximately 8,500 mixed resources; fiction/non-fiction and audio books, which are available to borrow.

Students are allowed to borrow two books at a time for a two week period and the Resource Centre is staffed full time by the Resource Centre Manager. .

It is a busy but calm working environment. We have 15 networked computers with access to black and white printers and a colour printer. The printers are available for student use. A photocopier is available for individuals to use and the cost is 2p for each black/white A4 sheet.

Please feel free to come and talk about the resources you need or would like to see.
